So, they say around day 20 is when the amazing epiphanies happen....so I'm ready.
Weight this morning is 63.3kg (139.5lb) - it appears the weight is moving again. As an exercise in clinical studies I've been putting my daily weights on a graph, and this morning I noticed that apart from the initial big drop, which would have been mostly the contents of my digestive tract and some water, the loss has been gradual and is definitely within the conventional recommendations for the rate of weight-loss. So I'm very happy. And so is my body, I think. My brain seems clearer, I'm sleeping well, GI tract is working well, I'm not hungry and I know I'm getting enough calories and literally piles of greens.
When I have time sometime soon I'm going to calculate the exact contents of a day's juicing, by calories and by nutrition.
For the second day in a row I didn't bother with my fourth quart of juice yesterday - I just didn't feel that I needed or wanted it. My juices from earlier in the day were about a quart and a half, though, because I was a bit hungrier. So that actually still makes my total for the day the same, or perhaps even a bit more, just consumed earlier in the day. Which is interesting, because I had a noticeable weight loss. Perhaps there's a connection - maybe it's better to take in calories earlier in the day.
I had my usual mix, though - celery, cucumber, romaine, parsley, with apple or pear to sweeten, and my daily melon juice (which I must admit I've come to really enjoy).
So there's nothing else remarkable to report. Have been looking at Cafe Gratitude's Monday Night Live lectures online, and having a nice quiet morning. Yay for the weekend!
