Day Twenty-eight - almost there now

Good morning!  An amazing weight drop since the last post.  Weight this morning is 62.0kg (136.6lb).  Obviously the gain I reported last time was just a blip on the scales - maybe human error, I don't know.

We travelled to Bodega Bay on Saturday and stayed the night.  I drank green juice which we bought from Wholefoods;  an actual green juice, not a smoothie - it was very green, even by my standards, and no fruit in it;  so it was the kind of thing you drink quickly and then say 'whew' when you're finished.  I did also have some Odwalla green smoothie, I must confess.  I know it's more fibrous than juice and it's flash pasteurised, but I wanted something sweet.  Anyhow I paid for it by spending a lot of time in the bathroom - I seem to be doing a lot of that lately - my husband thinks it's part of a deeper cleanse that's going on in my body - he may be right, given the weight loss.  If I was a more organised person I'd have taken my blender and all the ingredients, but I figure a day with purchased juices here and there isn't the end of the world.

Anyhow, I'm heading into my last days of the feast in good spirits, having filled the fridge with good fresh greens and fruits.

Had a lot of great exercise over the weekend - we walked all over the Bodega Bay hills, overlooking the ocean.  We saw a lot of wildlife;  seals, birds and also a snake which as a New Zealander (we don't have ANY snakes in NZ) was unnerving.  It's a great place to visit, and we intend to go back again when the whales are migrating, so we can watch them.

Heading off to the gym in a couple of hours with my daughter.  I feel great, and filled with energy.
