Only two days to go on the feast.
Weight this morning is 61.8kg (136.2lb).
I'm starting to think about solid food again, and looking forward to getting into the kitchen and preparing lovely raw meals again. Although in a way, I'm a bit sad about leaving this juice feasting zone. I feel so clean and pure and light. But the thought of doing another 30 days is a little too daunting. Maybe next September I'll do it again, and maybe do 45 or 60 days. I can totally see that this would be a good thing to do once a year; a kind of annual spring-clean.
I will have to eat lightly for the first few days after the fast, to allow my system to become accustomed to solid food again. So I think it will be smoothies and soups and juices for a few days. I'll have to do my research, as I know there are guidelines available on juicefeasting.com.
I'm totally excited about the World Vegetarian Day celebrations here in San Francisco this weekend - we will be attending the dinner on the Saturday night, catered by Living Light Culinary Institute (the school where I did my training), and I'll be hearing as many speakers as I can. Basically I think I'll be there all weekend. Specially looking forward to hearing John Robbins and Howard Lyman.
There's not much more to tell you about today. All is well. More tomorrow.
